Cash ISA
Beverley Building Society’s Cash ISA is a flexible savings account which means you can withdraw money from the current tax year or previous tax years if you need to. All of the interest earned is tax free and doesn’t form part of your Personal Savings Allowance. The ISA allowance for the 2020/2021 tax year is £20,000. The variable interest rate is 0.30% AER for balances of £1+, but once your balance reaches a higher tier, you will benefit from an increased rate of 0.40% AER on your entire balance.
Junior Cash ISA
If you are 16 or above and want somewhere to save up your pocket money towards a special purpose, or if you are a parent or legal guardian and wish to save for the future of your child, the Beverley Building Society’s Junior Cash ISA offers an attractive savings rate of 1.75% AER. The minimum opening and operating balance £1 and the overall JISA allowance for 2020-2021 is £9,000. No withdrawals are allowed before the child’s 18th birthday.
