Rathbones provides individual investment and wealth management services for private clients, charities, trustees and professional partners.
Stocks and Shares ISA
Rathbones’ Stocks and Shares ISA lets you invest money which will grow tax-free, with no income tax or capital gains tax (CGT) to pay on any income or profits from your ISA investments.
You can choose where your money is invested, with access to a large portfolio of expertly-managed investment funds. You can invest up to £20,000 a year and you must be over 18 and a UK resident to qualify. You can set up monthly payments, invest lump sums, or do both. By pulling all your holdings together into a Rathbones ISA portfolio, your investment manager can manage those funds under a single strategy and ensure you are making the best use of your annual ISA allowance.
The company will also look at your ISA in the context of your overall investment approach to make sure it is being managed to meet your individual circumstances and requirements. It charges a quarterly management fee calculated as a percentage of the value of your portfolio.
Junior ISA
The Rathbones Junior ISA offers a simple, tax-free way to save for your child’s or grandchild’s future, provided that you have parental responsibility for an eligible child. It is available to clients that already have a main portfolio with Rathbones.
You can invest up to £9,000 per year in this tax-free account. In order to meet the criteria for this service, children must be under 18 years of age, resident in the UK and must not hold a Child Trust Fund.
